Mrs Pollock & Miss Hicks - Year 2/3

Welcome to our very busy Year 2/3 classroom. This year we have 28 children in our class. Mrs Pollock and Miss Hicks are our class teachers. We also have Judith as our wonderful assistant! We look forward to a very productive and happy year.

The Gruffalo

Our topic this term is ‘The Gruffalo’. In preparation for reading the book we have been listening to descriptions of the different characters and drawing what we think they would look like. We then moved on to read the book and look at the characters in more detail. As we progress through the topic we will be getting involved in role play, making masks of the different characters and producing pieces of art and creative writing around the story.
