I would like to extend a very warm welcome to the pupils, parents and friends of Primary 5/6.

This year we have 29 children in our class. Our teacher is Mr Campbell and we are so lucky to have a lovely assistant - Emma.

2023/2024 promises to be a very exciting and busy year within our classroom as we will be covering the full range of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. Some of the interesting topics that we will be covering include - Bridges, what's the forecast, raiders of the lost tomb and vikings.

On Monday afternoons Year 5 do PE with Mrs Kane and the Year 6 students do art with Mrs Preston

On Tuesday afternoons, we enjoy learning makaton with Mr Henderson. Year 6's do PE with Mr Campbell.

On Wednesday afternoons, Year 5's are with Mrs Kane and the Year 6's are with Mrs Doherty.

We swimming on Thursday afternoons.

We have written homeworks every night (Literacy x2 and Numeracy x2), Spellings (Monday - Thursday), Tables and mental math facts (Monday - Thursday) and Reading on a daily basis. These are given out on a Monday.
