Every week selected children in year 2/3 are asked to bring in a special object that they wish to share with their peers.

This week Hannah brought in two toys that talk and Ross brought in his Shepherd's crook, cap and dog.

Our new topic this term is 'What a Disaster!' We are all very excited to learn about one of the most famous world disasters- the Titanic. We have also been enjoying some new rugby coaching.

Welcome back, our theme for the next few months is Yum Yum. We will be exploring food. Healthy and unhealthy choices, food groups, how food is produced, where food comes from and we will be tasting lots of different foods and doing some cooking.

This week we have been reading the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. Now that we know the story really well, we drew a story map together so we can walk along the story to remind us of what happened. Goldilocks and the three bears LOVE porridge, in our class we're not so sure about it so we are going to make our own, add some toppings and try it for ourselves. Year 5/6 are currently involved in a project with the Pushkin Trust.  They have had the opportunity to take part in African drumming workshops and the next stage is a series of dance workshops.  The first of these was on Tuesday.  We enjoyed expressing ourselves through dance.
