Here is a little snapshot of our outdoor play session on Monday. :)
Today the weather had picked up so we finally got outside to play. The children were very excited and we had a wonderful outdoor session with lots of learning opportunities. Enjoy browsing through our photos.
This week we welcomed back our children into the classroom and such fun we had. The children settled back in so quickly, remembering routines and adapting to life back with their friends. We are so proud of the fantastic week they had, so we thought they deserved a little treat today.
We had a visit from our local ice-cream man, Mr Whippy, which brought a smile to everyone's face on a Friday morning. Big smiles all round!!
Thank you Mr Whippy
We were all excited on Sunday night to see how many steps we had clocked up together for our first week of our March a Million Challenge. The number of steps that everyone sent in was AMAZING and our grand total was 1,552,219 steps!
Well done everyone-we will put another £5 each in our donation box. Thank you also to our families who have sent in donations for Cancer Focus NI, it is greatly appreciated.
Our star steppers this week were:
1st: Mrs Patterson 175,225 steps
2nd: Anne 124,016 steps
3rd: Sandra 116,566 steps
Have a look at some photographs of our travels to get our steps up and once again a huge THANK YOU to everyone for taking part and for all the donations. I wonder can we beat our score next week???
Can I begin by saying how proud we are of our nursery children the past 6 weeks. They were thrown into the world of remote learning and they have excelled themselves.
We are delighted with the dedication and commitment each family have shown to developing their child’s learning.
So well done to the children and also their parents.
Here is a short video to showcase the amazing work they have been getting up to.
Enjoy and thank you 🌟🌟

Tell everyone you know, who has a 3 or 4 year old child, about our super school and why they should choose our Nursery or School for their child in September 2021.
It's an amazing school and nursery full of amazing children!
Merry Christmas from all the staff at Artigarvan Primary School and Community Nursery🎄
We all enjoyed our Christmas dinner in the hall last week - it was delicious!
Thank you to all our lovely canteen staff.
As we come to the end of term we would like you to see a Christmas video that will show off some of the activities the children have been doing over the last few weeks.
We are excited for our Christmas holidays but hope that all our children and their families stay safe but have a very Happy Christmas. Lets hope that 2021 brings everyone the happiness and health that we deserve.
Have a super Christmas break and we will see you all soon in January. Enjoy our short Christmas movie :)
