Today we all went down to assembly with Mrs Harper. Sandra presented all the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners with their stickers and some boys and girls got a special effort sticker for showing perseverance during races.
Well done everyone! Wear those stickers with pride.
What a day we all had for our sports day followed by a fun afternoon on the pitch. All the boys and girls tried their very best with all the races and had fun 🤩

This term our topic is “Let’s get growing.”We have been learning all about life cycles. We have learnt all about the life cycle of frogs and ducks. We got to see tadpoles and hold some ducklings. Look at our photos below, the boys and girls had a quacking time. 🐸🦆🐸🦆

We had the best fun day ever- we got slightly wet in such a ‘heavy down pour’ of water guns 😉 It is even more fun when you are allowed to soak the big people in your class!
This week the pre-school children who are coming to our school in September went over to the main school and had their first experience of a school dinner. They all did exceptionally well and had a fun time. Well done boys and girls! 😁
The boys and girls absolutely loved our visit from Stephanie from Time Steps. The session was very interactive and engaging. She even wanted to trade one of our year 5 girls for a calf! Tempting, but I declined the offer 😅
We would highly recommend Time Steps and will definitely be using them for future topics. It really brought our current topic to life for the boys and girls.

Our PTA would like to trial a Uniform Recycling System at the end of June.
If anyone has any pieces of uniform that they no longer need if they could kindly remove their child’s name from the clothing and send to school before the term finishes on 29th June.
The PTA will sort all the items that have been sent into school and let you know how you can purchase items before we return for the new school year in September.
All items will cost £1/£2 and all money raised will go to school funds.
We know buying uniforms can be costly so this will be a good way to cut down the cost of purchasing uniforms while supporting our school at the same time.
