The children in Y1/2 created beautiful poppy illustrations to commemorate Remembrance Day. They used bottle lids, sponges and paint to create a beautiful field of poppies.
They also enjoyed listening to the story ‘Anzac Ted’ and designing their own medals of honour for their own hero’s.
Carrie even made her own poppy!
We have been learning how to change the tense of verbs in literacy. Today we played a memory game where we had to match the correct present, future and past tense.

This week we have been learning all about division.
We have shared sweets into equal groups and we have also used our sweets to learn about remainders.
We have linked multiplication and division and participated in lots of practical activities.
Year 6 and 7 worked in small groups to create their own newspaper front pages telling the wonderful news of the 1969 moon landing. Some wonderful future reporters!
The children enjoyed a Halloween party to celebrate the arrival of their half term holidays. They created their own pumpkin craft before dancing to their favourite song. They ended their day enjoying an outdoor picnic party in the beautiful October weather!
