The children took part in a live online art lesson inspired by Julia Donaldson’s iconic book, The Snail and the Whale. The children followed instructions and learned drawing techniques from an artist and created their very own masterpieces. Their work is currently on display in the assembly hall. We have been learning about different types of houses this term. We have been drawing pictures of our own homes on the iPads using a software programme. The children loved this activity and showed great attention to detail in their drawings.

We’ve been so busy rehearsing our Christmas shows this week. Nursery are performing The Wriggly Nativity, P1/2 are singing Christmas Songs and Rhymes and P2/3 and P3/4 are performing A Miracle in Town.

Today primary 2/3 took part in a Diwali workshop. We learned about the traditions surrounding this celebration and got to explore pictures, artefacts and traditional costumes from India.
