This week Year 3/4 have been learning about length. Today the children were asked to go around our classroom and measure some items. They had to decide whether or not an item was: less than a metre, about a metre or more than a metre.
We managed to find 2 things in our classroom that were just about a metre! One of our school desks and the classroom sink!! 🚰
This week has been Anti-Bullying Week. To celebrate our fantastic school, the children were allowed to wear odd socks to celebrate that everyone is different. Have a look at the pictures below.
Well done to Emma who received Mrs Harper’s Principal’s Award today for being so brave in school this week. Well done Emma! 🌟
On Tuesday we had a visit from a few members of the Strabane Branch Royal British Legion. They came to launch the Poppy Appeal and William Sayers talked to us about why we wear our poppy and the importance of wearing it with pride.
Members of our pupil council will be in the local paper along with the visitors.
Thank you to all of our visitors.
