Today we gave out all our Sports Day stickers to all our winners (see previous Sports Day post for all photographs).
Well done to our overall winners and runner ups in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Thank you to Mrs Harper who provided a delicious breakfast for our P7 Leavers on Tuesday…one of many treats for our wonderful P7 pupils this week!

Today we finished our races! Well done to all our winners of the bean bag throw and the dash! We will have our Sports Day celebration assembly in school next week.

What an amazing morning for our Sports Day this year. The sun shone brightly and everyone had great fun taking part in their races. We will complete our final races in the next few days and then hold our celebration assembly to give out prizes. Well done to all our boys and girls for taking part and a huge thank you to Spar for sponsoring our Sports Day. Here are the first set of photographs for you to enjoy! The children love the parent races-we didn’t realize we have such sporty competitive parents in Artigarvan! Thank you to everyone who took part 🏃♂️
A huge thank you to Spar Artigarvan for donating an ice pop for every child in school and nursery today after Sports Day! Just what was needed in this very warm weather ☀️
Today 53 children from nursery and P1/2 went on our class trip to The Playshed. The first excitement was when they realised they were going on a double decker bus. 🚌 Firstly we got them all buckled in safely and ready for the road.
At The Playshed, we had lots of fun running around the soft play area. Even the adults had some fun too 😉😉. We then had some sausages/goujons and chips along with ice cream for dessert. 🍦
We had time for some more play in the soft play frames before it was time to get on the bus and return to school. 🚌
The children behaved exceptionally well and each of them had a very happy face all morning. Well done boys and girls on a super class trip! 👍
Five of our year five pupils visited the Guildhall 100 Square outdoor maths event. The children took part in engaging activities and interactive games to enhance their mathematical skills. They had lots of fun!
P1/2 had a great party on the pitch for their last day with Mr Henderson. Thank you Mr Henderson for being an amazing teacher in P/2 since September.
