We made our own owls after reading the story, Owl babies. Some children made the mummy while others made the baby owls. Aren’t they cute? 🦉
Today 53 children from nursery and P1/2 went on our class trip to The Playshed. The first excitement was when they realised they were going on a double decker bus. 🚌 Firstly we got them all buckled in safely and ready for the road.
At The Playshed, we had lots of fun running around the soft play area. Even the adults had some fun too 😉😉. We then had some sausages/goujons and chips along with ice cream for dessert. 🍦
We had time for some more play in the soft play frames before it was time to get on the bus and return to school. 🚌
The children behaved exceptionally well and each of them had a very happy face all morning. Well done boys and girls on a super class trip! 👍
P1/2 really enjoyed spending the afternoon on their bikes/ scooters. It was really great for Mr Henderson and Anne to see how well they can use them. They all used their bikes and scooters so safely.
P1/2 have been busy planting. Mrs Pollock very kindly gave us onions to plant. They really enjoyed digging the soil out and putting it into plant pots.
This was our first time visiting the new outdoor learning area.

We read the story ‘Rabbit’s Pancake Picnic’ talked about how to make pancakes. The also completed a sequence activity recalling the method!
Well done to our Year 1/2 children who were amazing performing their nativity play in front of a real audience for the first time!
