Well done to Charlie and Zara for becoming Cubs, to Mya who is a Cadet and Sarah who is now a Captain. Keep up the hard work!
On Wednesday we were learning about St Patrick. Afterwards we completed some art work. First we cut out a template of a shamrock. ☘️ We then held it in place on another page and used our fingers to dab the paint around the outline of the shamrock. When we removed the template it showed the outline of the shamrock. Have a look at our super art work.
An invitation for past pupils and former staff to call into school for a browse around school, a time to reminisce, meet the staff and enjoy a cup of tea...
Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our Ukraine Appeal last week. We were able to donate £410 to help the people of Ukraine through Colin Tinsleys GoFundMe page. You may have seen Colin on the BBC news or you can check out his Go Fund Me Page “Helping Ukrainians taking refuge in Poland” to see the amazing work he is doing for the people of Ukraine.
On Monday, Kathleen and Jo Jingles came to Nursery. We had fun singing lots of familiar songs and it linked very well to our new topic, Nursery Rhyme Time. We can’t wait for the next session next Monday.
🌟 Well done to all our stars this week 🌟

This week we have been looking at symmetry, we have been trying to find symmetrical items within our room.
We have also been looking at the lines of symmetry in shapes.
On Thursday we made our very own symmetrical cards. We first folded the page in half then put blobs of paint in a pattern. When we folded the other half of the page over we pressed it down and held it for 10 seconds. Have a look at our finished cards.
Lyric theatre visit - lots of fun watching the show - a great way to learn about recycling through drama ⭐️
Most of the boys and girls have now received a certificate for zipping up their coat independently. Super work boys and girls! Now your grownup won’t have to help you to do this job. 👍👍
We had so much fun in class today talking about and describing our favourite book characters. Thank you for making so much effort to dress up and to bring in your favourite books to read together. I am so proud of the Primary 3 girls and boys who had the confidence to read their books to the rest of their class- what a marvellous achievement. I wonder if we will have any budding authors or illustrators of the future in our class? All things are possible with hard work and determination.
