Today the Year 4’s took part in their first session of Shared Education. This week we had an amazing teacher called Rois and she got all the children from Artigarvan PS, St Mary’s PS and Bready Jubilee PS engaged in drama and singing. We took part in some games at he start of the session, to get to know other students from the other schools. By the end of the session we were all singing together as one big choir.

These shared education sessions will be happening every Tuesday until Easter. Next week we have a session from FlipStarz who will lead our group in modern dance.

Our Pupil Council are ready for the new year ! They gave a letter in November to our visitor from the Department of Education about the state of our toilets, the leaks in our school roof and the smell from our sewers! They received a reply before Christmas from and the Department of Education have arranged another meeting with the school governors for the end of this month.

Our pupil council are organising a break time treat day for this month and will be having more meetings to organise events and fundraising days for the rest of the school year.
