Thank you so much to Ballinascreen Credit Union who gave our credit union savers a pencil case today. All our year 1 pupils were also gifted a piggy bank to help them begin their journey to saving money. There is still time to open a credit union account and receive a £10 voucher. Helen calls to school each Wednesday morning to collect the children’s savings.

Today we had visitors from Strabane Academy. Emma and Molly helped us learn some new words in Spanish. We were able to ask, “what is your name?” And reply “my name is”. We also learned some colours in Spanish.

Gracias girls and Strabane Academy for a fantastic lesson.

We were delighted to receive a bronze award for Best Primary School at the weekend. This award is for our wonderful pupils who deserve to be recognised for all their hard work and continued efforts to shine bright each and every day. Congratulations Artigarvan Primary School and thank you to River Radio for hosting such a great evening that recognised lots of community groups in the area who all do amazing work.

We had so much fun today playing NERF with Skills School.  This is a new and exciting after schools programme which will be running on Fridays from 4th October.  NERF is just one of the exciting programmes offered.  Others include ninja warriors, archery, fencing and more!
