This week we have had a fantastic lesson from Colleen from the Ulster Museum. We looked at seascapes and how we would create them. We started of by using woodies to draw in some lines of the horizon then started to add details to our pictures. We then added water to our drawing which turned the pictures into painting. Have a look at what we did. Our finished masterpieces are outside our classroom.

Thank you to Trevor from Air Ambulance NI who came to collect our donation to the charity. We were able to give him a cheque for £508.25 from our non-uniform day and donations in lieu of staff Christmas presents.

Thank you to all our generous pupils and families!

P1 have been using the laptops in school this week. The children are doing great at using the track pad to move the cursor around the screen. Tizzy’s toybox was a great game for us to play, tying in with our topic ‘in the toybox’. Over the next few weeks we will be having a go at logging in by ourselves and using the keyboard to type a sentence. 😁
